Job Description The School of Education is seeking to fill a full time tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate level in the area of Educational Leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate and doctoral courses, chair and/or serve on theses and dissertation committees, advise students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Required Qualifications The candidate should possess an earned doctorate degree in Educational Leadership or School Administration. The candidate should have had experience as a K-12 school or district administrator, expertise in scholarship related to school leadership, experience teaching at the graduate level and chairing or serving on doctoral or thesis committees. Additionally, the successful candidate should have experience collaborating with schools and school districts, demonstrated excellence as a school leader, knowledgeable of leadership standards and an understanding of best practices in school supervision and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications The candidate must have mastery of technology skills related to productivity and instruction and be prepared to teach in traditional and non-traditional formats and settings such as of campus, on line and zoom.
Physical Demands Physical demands: While performing job duties, employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance and color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment: The noise level in the work environment will probably be moderate
