Responsibilities may include teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: children’s literature, literacy (early childhood & elementary reading specialist), special education (early childhood, elementary, secondary), elementary education, early childhood education, secondary education, American Sign Language, Academic English Language Program, education administration, graduate programs, human diversity, technology, advising education students, supervising student teacher candidates, serving on committees, and other duties as assigned.
Required academic qualification to be eligible for the Instructor position is a Master's degree from an accredited institution in education or field related to specific teaching assignment. Required academic qualification to be eligible for the Assistant Professor position is a Doctorate from an accredited institution in education or field related to specific teaching assignment.
