Early Childhood CARES, University of Oregon, is seeking Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education Specialists to work with children birth to five years old with developmental delays and disabilities.
Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans.
Work directly with children doing interventions, evaluations and assessments.
Teach and consult with parents and staff, both one-on-one and in group settings.
Manage classrooms or groups, plan activities and train/supervise classroom staff.
Candidates with experience serving the needs of diverse populations are strongly desired.

Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or related field.
TSPC licensure or eligibility for Oregon Department of Education EI/ECSE authorization.
Experience teaching preschool age children with a variety of special needs.
Expertise in assessment, behavior intervention and consultation with preschools and families.
Current enrollment in the Oregon Early Learning Division Central Background Registry.
Must be able to travel to various locations throughout Lane County.

Early Childhood CARES services include parent consultation, parent-toddler groups, specialized preschools, community preschool consultation, speech and language therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
Early Childhood CARES is funded by the Oregon Department of Education with state and federal funds and is one of nine programs delivering EI/ECSE services across the state.
