Eagle Hill School seeks a candidate to work in a self-contained classroom with a lead teacher and 5/6 students. This is an invaluable learning opportunity to work with young children who have language-based learning differences. You will be part of a team comprised of special educators, speech and language pathologists, school psychologists, and an adaptive PE specialist. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education or Literacy. They must be eligible for Connecticut State certification. Salary: $40,000 with benefits

Full-time teaching at Eagle Hill School:
School day is from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. After 2:30 p.m., when the academic day ends, full-time teachers are involved in coaching, teaching an afternoon activity (i.e. cooking, drama, photography), or proctoring study halls. Two-week winter and spring break; usually, the last two weeks of March (full-time faculty).
