The School of Education of St. Ambrose University seeks an energetic faculty member for a full-time lecturer position in Early Childhood Education beginning August 2021. Qualified applicants will possess a Master's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education and the ability to contribute broadly within the School of Education curriculum. Special consideration will be given to applicants with professional experience and expertise in early childhood (birth to age 8), early childhood special education, high-quality inclusion, experience with infant/toddler populations and experience in early childhood assessments. An exceptional commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in student learning, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills are also important for this position. Responsibilities include teaching, advising and mentoring students, serving on department and university committees. There is a possibility of teaching across multiple forms of delivery within the department based on expertise and need in the department.
