Administrative Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with intake enrollment and scheduling of children
Assist with hiring and supervision of student workers
Assist with supervision of IECE internship students
Demonstrate professionalism within the CEC and as a part of community outreach
Support collaboration with school districts, First Steps, private providers, and families regarding special education services
Assist with family involvement, engagement, communication, and education
Assist with community outreach and involvement including social media
Assist with NAEYC accreditation and maintaining NAEYC standards of quality
Assist with health record collection
Instructional Duties and Responsibilities
Implement evidence-based instruction with fidelity
Assist with instruction and on-going assessment
Assist with communication of child progress with families each semester
Assist with screenings (developmental, vision, hearing)
Assist teacher team to create, implement and monitor child specific supports
Assist teacher team with families in need of additional supports
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in early childhood education
At least one year of experience working with young children (birth through kindergarten entry) with developmental disabilities including autism
Experience working with an interdisciplinary team
Salary Grade: 107 Salary Range: $33,000 - $34,000
This is a grant funded position. Continuation is dependent upon funding/need.
