The Assistant Head of School works closely with the Head of School and, as a member of the school's administration, is responsible for instructional leadership at the school. The Assistant Head of School supervises the teaching faculty, coordinates faculty hiring and professional development, participates in planning teams which sets school curriculum, policies, and procedures, and serves on any Board Committee as assigned by the Head of School and in conjunction with the Board. The Assistant Head of School collaborates with, provides information to, and makes recommendations to the Head of School and Senior Administrators, and assists in the implementation of resulting decisions. The Assistant Head of School's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
