The Cyert Center was founded in 1971 by working parents at Carnegie Mellon University, for working parents. The Cyert Center now serves 180 children in two locations. In 2017, the program expanded into a second location at 6555 Penn Avenue in response to the demand and satisfaction of employees of the university. The Director oversees both locations with the Director's office located on campus at the Morewood location.The Cyert Center is a community committed to the highest quality care and education for infants, toddlers, and young children.
